Dear members, Namaste
On behalf of the Mandir Committee I would like to thank each and every one of you for taking part in the various activities and events we organised during the holy month of Shravan.
We started Shravan with the Shiv Pooja and the Open Day and finished off with the Satyanarayan Maha Pooja. We also celebrated Shri Krishna Janmasthmi on a very big scale.
Last weekend we were pleased to see so many of our members turn up for the Ganesh Vishejan at the Mandir and Westhaven Marina.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the following people:
- All the members of the Mandir Committee
- All the members of the Catering Committee
- The teachers and students of Gandhi Gruh Gujarati School
- All the members who took part in the various pooja
- Members of the Jalaram Samithi
- Anandbhai Prabhoo and his Zimbabwe group
- Chimanbhai Ragha for organising the Parvachan by Ashwinbhai Joshi and his group from India.
On behalf of the Mandir Committee I would also like to apologise if there were any shortcomings during the Shravan Month.
Please Note the upcoming events:
Wednesday 28th September – Navratri Prarambh. Mataji Pooja will start at 3.00pm. Members wishing to take part in this Mataji’s Pooja please contact Abhijitbhai on Phone: 379 4463. Please obtain the Samagri list and give your name and phone contact by Monday 26th September. If you are taking part in the Pooja please be in the Main Hall by 2.30pm on Wednesday 28th September.
Thursday 27th October – Hindu New Year.
Goverdhan Pooja will start at 11.00am
Ankut – after evening Aarti at 7.30pm. Please bring your Ankut Prasad before 6.30pm.

Sunday 6th November – Tulsi Vivah
Time: 2.30pm in the Main Hall. This year Bharatiya Mandir will bring the Var Yatra to Radha Krishna Mandir. After the Vivah Ceremony Maha Prasad will be served.
I humbly request each and everyone to give us the support and blessings for these upcoming events as you have done for the Shravan Month.
This is our last event for this calendar year.
